Taylor GS Mini

This little acoustic came in with the owner complaining of a high action and that he wasn’t generally happy with the guitar. On inspection I concluded that the neck was at the wrong angle.

Taylor guitars have bolt on necks which helps with setting them up and they have different shims that can be used the alter the neck angle should it not be what is required once the guitar has strings on it. My friend Pod at Richtone Music in Sheffield helped me out with this as he is an official “Taylor Person” and once the neck angle was sorted I did some work on the bridge and the nut to get the guitar playing how it should.
