Gibson SG Standard

This guitar came in with the owner complaining that the strings (especially the high E) were choking when bending passed the twelfth fret. When I inspected the guitar I found that the neck had way too much relief on it and the strings weren’t matching the radius of the fretboard. This was causing the strings to choke because when they were fretted above the twelfth fret it meant the strings were basically running flat against all the frets from twelve onwards. Make sense? I need to draw a diagram…

Anyway, a full setup sorted the problem and this SG can sing again.
