Gibson Les Paul Traditional Re-Wire and Setup

The owner of this Les Paul had attempted to upgrade the wiring and parts to match the 50’s scheme. Unfortunately he had managed to push the shafts of the potentiometers through their metal casing which was causing the guitar to cut out as the contacts where moving around when the guitar did, Some of the wiring hadn’t been carried out correctly either, especially when it came to grounding the tags on the volumes.

Luckily the pots weren’t a total loss and I managed to reassemble them and they worked fine, so I rewired the guitar and got on with the setup which was straight forward.
