Had this Hofner 182 short scale bass in for some work from Rory who plays bass for Shura. I reckon it’s around 1962/63 judging by the painted neck and the lack of vinyl covering on the body, but I’m no expert! The neck had twisted in the heel so the strings were out of line and he wanted to know if there was any way to upgrade the bridge. Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything to match the tiny string spacing but to be honest, I’m kind of glad it stayed as original as possible.
