Re-fret on 70’s Gibson SG

Here’s an old SG that’s seen some action in its life. Came in for a re-fret and subsequently a new brass nut. It also needed some work doing on the tail piece bushings which had worked their way loose to the point that you could rock them back and forth in their holes.

The re-fret was fairly straight forward, the board was very brittle which is common and need filling here and there. I filled the tail piece bushing holes with some mahogany and re-drilled them, then I replaced them with some standard bushings as the ones that were in the guitar were substandard at best.
